I had a blast last night with Will watching over my shoulder. First I surprised my self by getting 4th i qualifying and then I managed to keep up with Mach for the first 8 laps pushing him all I could. In the end I made a mistake and got a very harsh (wouldn't You say Will?) shortcut penalty of 10 seconds which meant that I lost contact with Mach and lost 3rd. After a few laps I got it back and there was never any dought of my 3rd after this. Even after my mistake I could keep the distance to Mach and increase distance to the others and even lap quite a few. So my very first pole in AOR GT3 PRO league.

This week is going to be a bit tricky. I know I wrote that it was Road Amerika, but that's not until next week. This week it's Silverstone with qualifying in rain and a race partly in rain and partly in dry conditions. I've done my first practise session and that wet part is really slippery.

Good luck mate, if you can provide a link to the action, I'll get you on Ronin and promote on twitter/FB/GT etc :)

You should be able to find it on YouTube searching for RoninGT-Delaney. From the indikation that I have from the others, I will probably be somewhere at the back for this one, but We'll see come Wednesday.

That's cool dude, 2 weeks worth of viewing :). I don't seem to have the motivation for pcars myself but watching seems to be good fun. I did 3 laps at a TT earlier and I couldn't be arsed to do anymore :/ didn't even change any of the setup, just shows my mojo has gone for now. Maybe GTSport will give me my mojo back :).

Dear Ronin family member,

The time has come for server payments. In just over a month, a renewal will be needed to cover the next few years, this isn't cheap.

With the current state of Ronin and the potential for the future, is it worth renewing? Believe us, the last thing we want to do is pull the shutter down on the family run garage.

We would appreciate your thoughts. Please post to let us know your thoughts.

Thanks.

The Ronin-GT team.

Much as i'd love for the forum to stick around, with only a handful of us showing interest and posting regularly I just don't see any point?

Robin and I are sort of in talks about maybe starting again, new site, new forum etc but it won't be Ronin.

If the interest is there then I'll find a way to keep Ronin going but as you say Neil, there's only a handful of us posting. It's frustrating though, this place has been my home away from home for nearly 8 years, just can't see a way forward with things the way they are right now. Especially as a site which is supposed to be dedicated to GT and Racing.

I'll second that buddy

Hi lads, I was hoping there would be a renewed interest when GT Sport lands,
I blame the console change and the lack of Gran Turismo for the new console  :D
I for one would donate some funds to help toward the bill to keep RoninGT Forum up  :)

It's entirely pointless, Dave. Everyone gets their gaming news elsewhere, and then shares it with friends via Twitter, FB, various other group messages. Any discussion here would be largely regurgitated, which is why nothing really gets posted - no-one likes repeats.

No-one really organises anything here either, but they still game togther. Just shows that the site isn't needed. Same with the gallery, there are better places to post pictures.

I won't say how good it used to be... done that and, as I said, no-one likes repeats.

Have to say I agree with boots, but yeah Date I know what you're saying, been the same for us all.

Delays to ps4 Gt hasn't helped,  guys going off to other things, stuff at home that we won't know about and loads of other things haven't helped...

It socks the registration is up before GTsport is out...would have been interesting to see what happened..

We were always walking a very thin line of it working or not..

Just never really had just a few more members that were highly active might just have helped...guess we'll never know...
